As we see it, the role of L&D is to create the space and context for everyone (both individuals and companies) to learn, grow, and become better in every sense that matters. A rather beautiful and complicated (at times) mission! But the word everyone often doesn't include well... the learning professionals themselves.

As we see it, the role of L&D is to create the space and context for everyone (both individuals and companies) to learn, grow, and become better in every sense that matters. A rather beautiful and complicated (at times) mission! But the word everyone often doesn't include well... the learning professionals themselves.

We're so busy taking care of others, that we tend to become the "shoemaker without shoes". I'm not saying we don't learn. We do. But it is most of the time a consequence of our roles. We learn a lot on the job. We're curious. We're passionate. Some of us "hunt in packs", and are part of different communities. We subscribe to newsletters. We read books, articles, or listen to podcasts. And I probably missed some of the other ways we use in our chaotic pursuit of growth.

Is that so bad, you might wonder? In the end, that's how most other professionals learn as well. Why would that be any different for L&D?

Well, we're not saying it should be different. We're saying it should be more intentional. Not just for us, for everyone else.

We live in the world of the "great resignation". In a world where providing growth and innovation space to employees, it's critical. We're also heading towards a future that's weird, and full of uncertainties for organizations and individuals alike. So the role of L&D needs to expand. It needs to take into consideration things we hadn't considered before. It is becoming and it should become more complex to have more impact. And we, as L&Ds, should push for that. Because if the role of L&D becomes more complex, it becomes even more exciting to be a learning professional. We'll get to tackle even more interesting problems. Get our hands dirty with even cooler projects. Be more fulfilled and enjoy our roles even more!

But we're getting past ourselves. That's our vision. That's the world we dream of for L&D professionals. To get there, we need L&Ds to know someone's taking care of themselves as well. Of course, the learning journey is still owned by each and every one of us. But to become truly self-directed & successful in your pursuits you need the environment to be shaped for that.

So we intend to offer L&Ds the space to become more self-aware. Have the ability to set and pursue goals. Have all the resources they need to grow at their fingertips. Feel that they belong, and can rely on someone else to ask questions, brainstorm, get inspiration from, or sometimes just rant with.

We know all this is built in time, intentionally, and by carefully listening to our fellows. So we'll grow slowly, we'll take our time, and 5 years from now, we might be able to tell the stories of those that went beyond the (what now seems to be) borders of the traditional L&D profession.

So we took it upon ourselves to curate for you resources, peers, and create a space where everyone can meet and become better learning pros.

The future of work can feel demanding. There's a lot of chatter about all the skills we need to focus on. There's a lot of pressure of adopting new habits and behaviors. Moreover, we're humans, so we have other interests and passions apart from work. Prioritizing has never been harder. We make sure to explore all that, so you can feel more relaxed, prepared, and keep growing as a human being.

We organize monthly 2-hour workshops on personal development topics or 1-hour fireside chats with awesome L&D peers from all over the world to infuse inspiration, reflection, and growth among our fellows.

Curated Resources

The most useful resources shared in our newsletter, all in one place. Do you want to filter through them? You can! Do you want to save them on a personal board so you can explore them later on? You can do that as well!

Masterminds

Self-driven peer learning groups that meet recurrently and tackle personalized challenges. You let us know you want to join one and we make sure we curate the peers that could help you and you could help in exchange.

Perks

We're heavy users of all kinds of tools & services. So how about we get some cool discounts for some of them & save personal or company budget? Well, with the fellowship you get that as well.

THE PROCESS
HOW DOES IT WORK
The difference between us and any other community out there is that we're intentionally building relationships, and belonging, so we can truly grow together. Hence, access is a biiit restricted.

Each month, until the 25th, you can apply to join the next month's cohort. We only have 30 seats available monthly, so you need to hurry to catch a seat!

Onboarding starts on the 1st of each month and lasts 4 weeks. During this time, you'll get to know the community & build a personal strategy, and meet everyone else.

Once the onboarding is done you can focus on exploring all the resources, learning pods, perks, and fireside chats available each month.

One year later, we decide together if you're getting enough value to stick around, so you can renew your membership or drop it.

FELLOWSHIP TEAM PLAN

If you're part of a team and think everyone will benefit from the fellowship, gather your colleagues and you can enjoy a discount on the yearly plan. You get 5 seats, pay for 4, and enjoy together everything we have to offer.

Who's this for?

The fellowship is dedicated to L&Ds working in-house or as freelancers.

Unfortunately, for now we won't onboard individuals offering any kind of services & product to learning professionals, as we try to keep the community advertising-free.

Why should I join the fellowship?

It's common practice that we take care of other people's learning journeys but forget about our own. Of course, we learn a lot by doing, and we do believe that's the best way to learn. BUT! We still have questions, or sometimes we need inspiration, we might need an infuse of new concepts and motivation, or might just want to learn what we should do to keep up with this fast-paced world.

There's no one else to take care of this inside our organizations, right? So here we are. Promising to equip you with most of what you need to keep learning and progress in your career. You still own your learning journey, but we make sure you have all the external resources to reach your goals.

Why do you enroll only 30 people per month?

Compared with the free communities out there, we plan on properly taking care of fellows' onboarding processes and setting them up for success. During the first month in the community, you'll spend a lot of time understanding exactly how the fellowship can help you, you'll get to meet other fellows, and build your personal learning strategy, among others.

Even beyond the first month, we'd like to focus on the quality of the relationships in the community, curating peers for you to meet, and building trust and belonging as we grow.

How much does it cost?

Access to the fellowship costs €159 yearly and gives you access to monthly workshops and fireside chats, the full library of curated resources, your personal resources board to manage as you need, discounts for tools and services you often use, and the option of joining a self-driven mastermind group.

When do workshops happen?

In our first months of activity, we expect most of our workshops to happen anytime between 4 - 7 PM CET. Later on, we plan on accommodating other timezones as well. Stay close!

What happens if I want to cancel my fellowship during an active year?

We completely understand this might happen due to different circumstances. If you change your mind, we'll be ready to provide you with a full refund.

What happens when my fellowship membership expires?

We want the fellowship to be something that truly helps you. So after a year of activity, you can decide to cancel or go on with the membership, On the other hand, we maintain the right to cancel memberships of fellows that haven't been active or exhibited any behaviors that are not according to our community guidelines.

Who else is a fellow?

We have members from all over the world, from Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Australia, Peru, and the US. Our fellows are either L&D professionals or People Experience and People Partners that have L&D responsibilities.

What does the Content Only Plan offer?

In comparison with the fellowship plan, the Content Only Plan offers access only to our library of curated resources and a personal board you can manage as you need. Why you might want this plan? You're looking for curated resources for your colleagues and you want to save some research time. You're often in need of inspiration for the projects you run. You just want to keep up with all the resources shared in our newsletter in an orderly fashioned way.
